Black Sea Conference Room, Petrom City, Bucharest
30 Jan 2020, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Dear SPE Romanian Section,

We are glad and privileged to have an outstanding individual visiting us in Bucharest this upcoming Thursday for a technical presentation with the topic:

“A holistic approach to stimulation – Beyond the Rock”

Dr.Christopher Green, Oil States Consulting

Not only is Dr.Green an outstanding professional in the industry, but he comes with significant knowledge and experience in the world of stimulation, mainly hydraulic fracturing. Thursday’s event will be tackling hydraulic fracturing in conventional and unconventional terms, in perforation strategies and dynamic discussions about what lies beyond the approach to stimulating rock volume. This event is not only targeted for stimulation professionals, but for those who understand the implications of working in a technical team with a variety of disciplines and understanding the effect one has on each other. Hence, take some time and join us this Thursday for knowledge sharing!

Dr. Christopher Green has 25 years international oil and gas experience, having worked in some of the most remote areas of the world and more recently, specializing in assessing and developing unconventional (UNCON) and HP/HT reservoirs world-wide. Dr. Green’s qualifications comprise a PhD in Physical Chemistry and an MS in Petroleum Engineering, and his specialty is undertaking geomechanical studies to improve completion, perforation and acid/hydraulic fracturing stimulation practices. He has implemented several successful “industry first” applications of hydraulic fracturing, as well as performing some of the most successful stimulation treatments in extreme HP/HT reservoirs world-wide. He is actively involved in SPE as a P&O reviewer and involvement with the recent HF monograph as well as research consortia in both the US (Colorado School of Mines) and UK (University of Strathclyde).

Please save the event in your agenda!!
