SPE Romanian Section

SPE Italian Section is inviting you to the forthcoming “Beyond the Borders” (BtB) event that will be held in Basilicata, Italy, from Wednesday 23rd to Saturday 26th November 2022. Following Milan, Paris, Bucharest and Vienna, BtB comes back to Italy, this time the Southern part of it, where majors Eni and TotalEnergies (kind sponsors of the event) have operations.

Beyond the Borders is a common initiative of local Young Professional communities that consists of a series of coordinated international events whereby foreign Young Professionals join a hosting Section for a technical and networking event of 3 days.

The event will be open to 18 YPs from international SPE Sections, plus participants from the local Section. The main events will be the Business Visits to Centro Olio Val d’Agri (COVA) and Tempa Rossa plants, operated respectively by Eni and TotalEnergies. Furthermore, the event will open with a Networking Dinner in Naples (home of the amazing pizza!) and will also feature a cultural hike in the Lucania Natural Park to discover the history of Oil & Gas in the area, and a panel by service companies and contractors about their experience in Basilicata.

Each SPE section has  1-2 spots available depending on the total number of applications.

Funding information:
1. Included in the package for each participant:
• Accommodation (double/ triple non-mixed rooms)
• Local transportation (to/from Napoli and in Basilicata)
• Breakfast and one more meal per day
• All formal activities
2. Not included in the package:
• Flight tickets to and from Napoli (self-funded by each participant)
• 2nd meal per day
• Evening casual activities
