SPE YP Talks: Filling the Gaps

On March 28th, at OMV Petrom HQ in Bucharest, took place the thematic event SPE YP Talks: Filling the Gaps. We challenged 3 professionals to share their ideas on the topic – using their knowledge and experience from the professional and personal perspective.

Dian Sari – Wireline Tender Lead, Schlumberger spoke about “Managing Expectation while Filling the Gap” in a professional environment – when working for various projects. Different steps of approaching the projects were highlighted – Assessment, considering the timeline, adopting a strategy, execution of the project and closure – evaluating the lessons learned during the process.

Rafael Hincapie, Senior EOR Engineer, OMV and SPE Ambassador Lecturer delivered the third presentation “The career advice I wish I had when I was younger” – accentuating the importance of resilience in face of life and career challenges, being ready to step out of the comfort zone – to become a mentee and mentor others – leaving a “fingerprint” of our experience and knowledge through positive actions. The presentations offered an opportunity to the participants to reflect on the advice they would have given to younger selves and gain a new perspective.
